Prior to the issuance of Circular 46, there were only a few rock wool production lines in my country that could meet the requirements of European standards EN13500 and EN13162, and they were not mainly used in external wall insulation technology. After the issuance of Circular 46, my country's rock wool production and its application technology have developed by leaps and bounds.

The Dafeng rock wool project has four production lines with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. Through the introduction of world-class rock wool production equipment and technology, a modern rock wool manufacturing plant will be built. After the project is completed, a production capacity of 150,000 tons of rock wool products will be formed. The total investment in the first phase of the project is 600 million yuan. Two international advanced rock wool production lines will be constructed with a production capacity of 70,000 tons; BBMG Energy Saving & Insulation Technology Company has an annual output of 3.5 The ignition ceremony of the 10,000-ton rock wool insulation board production line was officially launched in Dachang Jinyu Industrial Park. The line was introduced from Italy with a total investment of 240 million yuan. After it is completed, it will be completed with an annual output of 35,000 tons of Class A fireproof rock wool insulation products; Shandong Oux Rock Wool Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has laid the foundation for its 40,000 tons of rock wool production line.

    According to statistics, since 2011, there are about 40 rock wool production lines built and under construction in my country, with a production capacity of about 1 million tons. The output of rock wool is still increasing every year. With such a large output, a large amount of rock wool scraps will be produced in the process of making rock wool products. These wastes are difficult to degrade and pollute the environment. Most people choose to bury them deeply. The annual waste generated is tens of thousands of tons. Deep burying not only wastes manpower and transportation capacity, but also faces great environmental pressure. The use of rock wool waste can reduce the labor cost and freight of landfill, and it can also reduce environmental pollution.
